“Yes, that’s my kid standing next to Kevin Durant. He’s an artist who creates pieces related to basketball. He’s shown his art at Basel Miami, New York Fashion Week, and during NBA All Star weekend. A couple of summers ago he went to China with LeBron James, but this all began when he was 14 and launched his own t-shirt company. He called it Sindrome and started it because he was bored. While his brothers and sister swam at the community pool, he sat nearby sketching designs. I helped him create a dba and fronted the money to get the t-shirts printed. He sold a few. It was the start of the entrepreneurial artistic lifestyle he’s living today. And sometimes I get to go along for the ride!”
